with this app you can explore the Mandelbrot set and the Julia set, these are fractal sets of points in the complex plane.

The mandelbrot set looks like this:

Being a fractal means that small parts of it are similar to the whole set, in fact if you zoom in the 'antenna' of the upper lobe:

You find it again! There are many places in the Mandelbrot set where you can find smaller copies of itself. You can also get other interesting images and share or save them on your phone.

You can also use the Julia map button to find the relation between the Mandelbrot and Julia sets, and find interesting points to render the Julia set.
